1. Who we are

Promptolian is operated by Maurizio Lospi, based in Switzerland. Contact: support@promptolian.com

2. What data we collect

We collect the minimum necessary to operate the service:

• Proxy: The hosted proxy (Solo/Team plans) forwards API requests to Anthropic/OpenAI. Your prompt content is not logged or stored. Only tool schemas are cached (as anonymised JSON) for session continuity.
• Website analytics: We run first-party analytics via a script hosted on our own domain. Each page load generates an anonymous session ID (stored in sessionStorage — deleted when you close the tab, no cross-session tracking). We record: page visited, event type (pageview, click, scroll depth, time on page), element clicked, approximate country and region (derived server-side from your IP address — your IP is never stored), device type (desktop/mobile/tablet), and referring URL. No cookies are set. If your browser sends a DNT: 1 (Do Not Track) header, no data is collected at all.
• API users: Compression event logs tied to your API key — token counts and tier used. No prompt content is stored.
• Subscribers: Email address and Stripe customer ID for billing. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

3. Cookies and third-party services

This website sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel). Our analytics script is first-party and uses sessionStorage only. We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may set cookies per Google's own privacy policy.

4. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA/UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Email support@promptolian.com and we will respond within 30 days.

5. Data retention

API event logs are retained for 90 days, then deleted. Subscription records are retained for accounting purposes for 7 years (Swiss law requirement).

6. Data transfers

Our servers are hosted in the EU (Railway.app, Frankfurt region). Stripe processes payments in the EU/US under standard contractual clauses.

7. Changes

We will post any material changes to this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
