1. Who we are

Promptolian is operated by Maurizio Lospi, based in Switzerland. Contact: hello@promptolian.com

2. What data we collect

We collect the minimum necessary to operate the service:

• Browser extension: All compression runs locally in your browser. We do not transmit your prompts to any server unless you explicitly click "Compress via API" (Pro/Builder tiers only).
• Website: Anonymous usage counters (total compressions, average compression ratio). No personal data is stored.
• API users: Compression event logs tied to your API key — token counts and tier used. No prompt content is stored.
• Subscribers: Email address and Stripe customer ID for billing. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

3. Cookies and third-party services

This website uses no analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel). We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may set cookies per Google's own privacy policy. You can decline this in our consent banner.

4. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA/UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Email hello@promptolian.com and we will respond within 30 days.

5. Data retention

API event logs are retained for 90 days, then deleted. Subscription records are retained for accounting purposes for 7 years (Swiss law requirement).

6. Data transfers

Our servers are hosted in the EU (Railway.app, Frankfurt region). Stripe processes payments in the EU/US under standard contractual clauses.

7. Changes

We will post any material changes to this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
